Spectacular shot Bill. I wish I could have seen the Camas Prairie back in the day.

Beautiful shot Bill.

What a cool shot. Old style trains, old style bridge.

Check out the BN caboose!

I like it as well. Sadly the first time I made it out was in September of 1999 when the local derailed near Grangeville and the line was abandoned after that. All I have is more recent pics of empty trestles.

The barren landscape as a background to this trestle adds mystery and drama.

It's a Hooper! Nice catch Bill. Classic power, classic engineering.
|
It's about time they recognized your work. Congrats on POTW Bill, well deserved.
|
Great shot Bill! I see at least the line is still open to Craigmont, that's good.
|
Yeah that is an impressive bridge. Nice shot!
|
Splendid picture! And nice to see a real big trestle bridge in use! Thank you!

Beautiful shot! I've been watching the line since my early childhood, early '40s. I think the tracks are all gone in this area now. I have shots taken at Cottonwood about eight years ago when the track to Grangevill had been removed.

Fabulous shot, Bill!!! I know that area of Idaho quite well. Too bad the UP doesn't run trains there anymore.

Nice photo Bill It´s fantastic!!!
