And today, all that location is is a CSX MoW office and an empty building getting passed by CSX and MBTA trains. Another great shot Mr.Haskel.

Track to right was refered to as "old 4". The 1st trip I made as a Brakeman in 04-64 was a night eastbound (BA symbol)out of West Springfield with a 30+ car drop at Framingham. The engineer was less than thrilled to have a greenhorn on the units let alone having to make the drop in the dark. It was all uneventful; I swung off at the clearance point, counted the cars for the drop and swung down the engines. Got the cut on the slack, saved the air (it was ok then) and rode the west car over the switch, then shoved back on old 4 to headpin the units. Reverse the procedure and put the units back on the train using the call bell for signals from the trailing cab. Got an ataboy from the engineer who was my friend for life, but he didn't know for many years how I sweated making that simple move as a young man.
