Posted by John Dziobko www.godfatherrails.com on March 15, 2012  That stub siding was the beginning of the PRR line that ran all the way to Toms River and then westward to Camden, NJ. A bay trestle fire severed the line in 1946, with service only remaining from Toms River to Camden.
