Very Nice Photo Alex. I remember her when she was in Louisville around 1986 when KRM was there. Even have my picture on it. What's the plans for her? I understand it's just an empty shell? Thanks

I certainly hope a re-restoration is in the cards, this unit looked very sharp when it was painted up in its original scheme some years ago. The L&N got the last E6s built, and theirs were the only examples that lacked that little "platform" at the base of the headlight.

This is an unbelievable weathering job thanks to the elements. The rust, patina and chalking paint make every detail stand out. Alex it is like you went into the woods and came upon this long lost gem. I wonder what it looks inside. Let's face it museums are keeping a lot of our railroad heritage alive.
