The feeling you get when you come across a photo of a 1950's or '60's era SP freight is the same I get when I look at this shot, Clark. It's all relative my good man. I miss this train and the railroad very much. Such awesome sights, sounds AND smells that the SP gave railfans. Excellent shot!

That sums it up perfectly. There was just something different about how SP ran their trains, and the heavy ones like the cans filled this notion. Those lucky enough to have experienced it are blessed. Thanks for sharing this view!
