ICE refers to the German InterCityExpress set that also toured the country around the same time. This is the Swedish X2000, which is in no way related to the ICE.

Nice photo. I rode this train form New Haven to Penn Station. Because it was MN track we never went fast. But let me tell it was a cool ride! The tilt was working and was neat to see and feel it in action on those curves I had ridden a thousand times before.
