While working as a Designer at Colorado Railcar, I had the privilege to work on the design team of this DMU.
I designed the Upper level interior, Fuel Tank/Fuel System, Galley, Luggage Racks, HVAC System and Engineer's cabs of this DMU.
The nice photo you have attached, brings back great memories of the good times I had in helping design this DMU for the Alaska Railroad.
This DMU was the last DMU designed and built by Colorado Railcar.
It is a shame that Colorado Railcar is out of business, as I would have loved to have designed more of these DMU's for the Alaska Railroad.
