Very interesting image Mr. Haskel. Lots of activity at the engine terminal. Thanks for sharing.

Great Shot Don. Ah, the Good Old Days at Dover Street. I spent many interesting days there. HH's, S-1's & 2's, RS1's, RS3's, FA's, FB's, FM's, C425's U-25's. A real locomotive lovers haven. DaveKfromUP

Ah, the memories of this place, RS 11s, in addition to the GP9s, FL9s, mostly ex-PRR E8s, RS2s, RS3s, the HH660 that lasted into 1971, when it was replaced by an older SW1, that was one step ahead of the "Ivory hunters"itself. Best of all were the ex-New Haven H16-44s both the older 590 series units and the 1956 "Mini Train Masters" before they moved to Chicago. This area is still in use by Amtrak, keeping up with the needs of Acela and other underperforming straight electrics and P42s. The employees here could keep nearly everything running with black electrical tape, and bailing wire.
