Glad to see OSRX 383 is still around and looking no worse for wear than when I saw her last. Hopefully she's just at Lambton for a bit of TLC. According to the Canadian Trackside Guide she was built in May 1952 as MStP&SSM 383, in 1961 became SOO 383 and was acquired by the OSR in 1999. Up until a couple of years ago she worked the Clarkson PetroCanada refinery along with MLW M-420(W) OSRX 644.

383's origin was with the SOO line as #383.

Nice shot Don. 383 is in for repairs and had been working on the Port Burell sub for the last little while. She was put back in service for a short period before heading to Sarnia for repairs. She is a former Soo engine as is her sister 378 which is still working hard on the Port Burwell sub.
