That small fuel tank looks pretty strange on there.

Unless they switched trucks, this is an ex-Conrail unit, which looks even stranger with the new fuel tank on it. These units are highly regarded by the crews I have spoken to. They feel these units have more tractive effort, and have much better creature comforts than the former Conrail SD40-2s. Let's see if they still like them in, say, three years.
