Great photo John! Until now I didn't know that there were any ex-SP SD39's left in existence! I thought they had all been scrapped or converted to another type of engine or shipped off to foreign lands. I have now looked through the database at the other pictures of DAIR 4027 and am very pleased to see that the D&I seems to be taking excellant care of it and that under that very nice paint job it still has the spotting features of an Espee engine of the late eighties and nineties. I love it! Now I'm off to seek out the pictures of the D&I's other ex-SP SD39. Thanks for enlightening me!
