Great shot of a place that was infinitely more interesting back then. One nit to pick, though ... that isn't an SP GP40, but a Cotton Belt GP40. (The SP never purchased any GP40s, oddly enough, though they did later buy GP40P-2s and GP40-2s.) But that doesn't detract from this excellent shot, which looks as if it were shot yesterday! (Must be a Kodachrome...)
