The caption really caught my eye on this, then the rest of the photo and lots started looking familiar. I grew up here, even got in trouble once for being on the railroad property at the age of 12-13 back when it was MoPac. Had we not been climbing and walking on the top of some hoppers that were parked just about where those are, we wouldn't have gotten caught. Luckily they were nice to us and just reminded us how dangerous trains are.

It didn't take long for photographer Welch to explore his new surroundings. Cheers to you and all the new photographic opportunities that await you in the 'Show Me State'.

Those 60' flat cars really come in handy when you need to move some derailed hoppers.

I agree Mason, those 60 foot flats sure do make moving derailed cars much easier.

I know that every railroad does some odd, backwards move every now and then, but this is getting ridiculous. Great job, Steve!
