Ditch lights are off. This could turn into a decertification offense for the engineer, if the train is operated more than 10 MPH in excess of 20 MPH (yeah, yeah, 30 MPH); as the maximum authorized speed for trains operating without ditch lights is 20 MPH over crossings. One of my constituents got tagged for that just last week, when the circuit breaker was open without his knowledge.
