A simple composition, Mitch, but an effective one! The glow of the firebox really makes for a nice touch considering the frigid temperatures. Nice meeting up with you this weekend!

I'm not USUALLY big on steam, but THIS IS ONE TRULY SUPERB PHOTO. Excellent use of available lighting and the "crispness" (pun intended) is amazing for the amount of available light. Definite People's Choice

Yes Mitch, tell me how warm you felt in the below freeing temperatures standing in knee-deep snow as the glowing firebox went by. It looks like you took this shot during the magic hour between day and night. The picture has the feel of an old Phil Hastings image from Summit, Vermont on the CPR in the fifties.
