It looks like there have been modifications made to that loco. The jaged metal edges on the front of the loco attest to some kind of major work.

I've been told that this line only sees seasonal use and that the some of the trains are run for the purpose of apple wine tasting.

The front of the loco is original - what appears to be rough metal round the radiator grill is in fact a canvas cover which is rolled back here - this was fitted to many locos of this type. Trains are booked to run over the Frankfurter Hafen Bahn on only eight occasions during 2010, four of those dates are in the lead-up to Christmas. Steam is often used but, on this occasion, the booked power was top and tail diesels (V36 406 was on the other end). Details can be found at http://frankfurt-historischeeisenbahn.de/Bilder/Plakat%202010.pdf.
