Cool shot, Aaron! Is this not a former Erie Lackawanna C425 in British Columbia Railway paint? I know some of the former EL units went to the BCR and if they didn't renumber those units (which I don't believe they did) this would be a former EL unit and number. IF all that is true, this means this C425 has been from New York (and everywhere EL/CR operated) to British Columbia and back home to New York state! Not every locomotive can state that in its resume!Regardless, it's still a nice photo and thanks for sharing!

Jim, this is in fact former BCOL paint; however, the MA&N units all carried other numbers while on the BCOL and during their early years on the MA&N. This particular engine was formerly MA&N 806 and BCOL 806. GVT is in the process of renumbering some of its locomotives back to their original road numbers.
