This is why this line is missed so by area railfans. This area is only seeing the occasional train from Buffalo, but not over the B&O/BR&P, which is abandoned from Cascade to Orchard Park NY. The Buffalo & Pittsburgh uses the former Conrail/ Penn Central/Pennsylvania from Buffalo to Machias, where it moves over to the BR&P/ B&O Rochester line as far as Ashford Junction, where it meets the Buffalo line.
