The Northwest is just not the same without the Milwaukee Road. Milwaukee Road left Montana in 1980, and fell all together in 1985 being absorbed into the Soo Line. Amtrak no longer serves Butte but BNSF does. The EP3's, E11 was one of 10, were all scrapped by 1957. Thanks for sharing this piece of history!
