Bring your fishing gear when you go here to get train pics! Massachusetts does overcharge for non-resident fishing licenses, but to fish and get train photos, it's worth it! The other great spots: Deerfield River, Hoosac Tunnel to Greenfield, the Connecticut, (East Northfield to Springfield) the Merrimac (at Haverhill) all on Pan Am.
No license needed (?) for ocean fishing along the old Eastern route, now MBTA, Lynn to Manchester.

That date can't be right - this is a Conrail shot, which was almost five years in the future in 1971. 1981 maybe?

Oh one more thing (Columbo mode). The eastbound would be TV10, TV9 being the westbound counterpart, no?
