Great shot, Dan. This scene will be a bit different (and the vantage point not quite the same) in a couple of years when the new bridge is built to replace the one you were standing on. The new bridge will have better sidewalks, so that will certainly be a plus.

Neat compare/contrast to the times. Note that two of the wooden poles remain standing from the pier in the 1987 photo.
