Definitely an ex-VIA GMD FP7A, not an EMD F7A. Probably ex-CN.

This is a VIA FPA-9 retired and sold in the early 90,s.

Well....that's with an ex-CN FP9 in VIA paint. The small drip-strip across the nose door differentiates it from a CP unit. The trucks in the foreground aren't from the unit. Those are six-wheel passenger car trucks from a heavyweight car (Commonwealth, I believe).

It looks like the cab of a VIA FP7 that was scrapped at Larry's Truck and Electric (LTE). I think it was owned by Ohio Central before it went to LTE. If I remember right it had serious damage at the back of the unit where the steam generator was. I think there is some photos on here of it at LTE.
