Evidence that Chessie/CSX knew why the old BR&P had to be spun off to Genesee & Wyoming. There's a lot of snow every winter along the New York lines that were the Buffalo Rochester & Pittsburgh. But, no matter who ran these lines, it could be a fine show- but not a profitable one.
