Three GP9s on a B&M through freight? Hmmm...Has to be from the mid '60's as the maintenance on these girls was bypassed by a hard pressed railroad. As their reliability suffered due to deferred maintenance, five Geeps became the standard on through freights into the mid-70's, when money began to be available to fix or maintain these units. This paint scheme is worthy of praise, despite what one thought of B&M's management in the late '50's. Too bad they didn't put the Minute Man statue silhouette on the nose and long hood end. If they'd done that, it would have been a classic paint scheme.
