Great shot Chris! One of the best I have seen from Alaska.

Excellent series of photos from Alaska, Chris. This is a stunner. Hey, we know now too, that Chris Starnes isn't the one that passed on badging this one with an SC! Keep 'em coming!

Sky, clouds and mountains included in the lake! Well done Mister Chris.

Love it, Chris. When I originally saw this, I was figuring an SC, but a POTW is certainly appropriate and well deserved. Congrats on a pending PCA, too.

I just realized you can't see me but you can see my car. Neat.

I knew where this one deserved to be when you put it up on facebook Chris. What a scene! The muted reflection of the mountains and sky in the lake is just so cool.

Hell of a bucket truck you must have there, Chris! Seriously, a beautiful view. Love the suggested mountains. Thanks for posting!

Nice shot, Chris. Someone has already commented about your scene complimenting the AK scenery nicely. I'm guessing you are in an aircraft but am not 100% certain. Part of me thinks this is the last shot you took with this camera before a mosquito, airplane size being normal fare for AK fauna, dropped you back to ground level into the water. Too much camera gear saved you from being sucked dry while in flight.
