This sort of breaks my heart, I've grown up watching the 6004 pull trains through Mattoon, not any more.

These three units were all great working locomotives prior to CN's choice to retire and scrap them. It sure is still amazing CN scrapping not only the SD40-2R's but the SD40-2's as well. I would say "Great Shot" but in this case, Sad Shot.

Terrifying to look at... those IC SD40s were workhorses. I'll miss them.
