Great work! You really captured the scene well. Looks like the chain bent the hand rail.

When on outriggers the entire running gear of the crane including the wheels and tires becomes extra counterweight, as seen to the left in this nice photo.

You never know if the derail has been properly installed unless someone tests it out. Well at least that is what I keep telling the company at every derail investigation....it never works!
