Looks good. Hopefully these units work out as intended.

When I saw the first photos of this, I thought it looked hideous, that was before they painted it, it looks MUCH better painted. People complained of the flat nose, not bad at all, looks better than the new EMD nose, i'm not a fan of the overhang or "eyebrow", but that is something I am sure they can tone down if they wanted to. I dont see the point of it.

There has to be good reason for the eyebrow, otherwise wouldn't have spent the money to make it.

I like it ....ALOT! It's always nice to see something other than M-2's and Dash 9's for a change.
|
Basically looks like a neanderthal locomotive...

Nice catch and photo, Casey! Send 'em up north to Indiana so I can see something new, different and shiny on the Lafayette District!

Having eliminated cabooses it looks as though the railroad may be providing a bunk for a weary crew. I'm certain there is a pair of bunks in that modified roof.

No, there isnt.

That overhang is a sun visor, like you see on trucks. It's amazing how much cooler it is with a little shade.
|
So did they replace a standard cab with that? At least it's uh different.
