You got lucky with the weather! My father and I were down in the Cold Spring/Breakneck Ridge area that day, and never got more than a few sucker holes of sun.

On the old Boston and Maine, train crews would get on the phone at the spring switch at Brick Yard and say "Hello XO" when getting clearance into Mechanicsville yard. Now XO is just an empty building.
