If you look below the wheels, you'll see a pile of sand. For some odd reason this night, the sanders switched themselves on, and dumped all the sand we had left tight there at the platform.

I hope someone scooped up what they could of the sand and put it back in there. The North Shore Scenic Railroad, "America's Resourceful Tourist Railroad". Nice photo too!
