Hey Dave, This is surely one interesting operation that I would like to see in person. I would guess that since Alaska is somewhat cut-off from the rest of us that loads like the vacuum truck seen in your photo are all too common?

Very neat Dave, surely this be one of the busiest and indeed last carfloat operations in the US. Something once so common but now exceedingly rare. Thanks for this glimpse into the operation.

It's amazing a link through Canada from Alaska isn't utilized for these moves. However, it may take just as long, or longer, to transport cars. Thanks for the photo and description, it's an oddity that deserves recognition.
