More than a comment, I'd like to put a question about train pictured on this photo ( I feel it nice besides interesting ). It was 1976 and I know passenger services was provided by Amtrak in that era and in fact the consist is by five Amtrak cars and a FL9 sporting PC logo. My simple ask is following: was that EMD FL9 owned by Amtrak or was it still of PC? But was PC still operating?

The FL9s were owned by PC at the time, and later by Conrail. They were operated by PC and Conrail to support commuter train and Amtrak operation. In 1980, Conrail managed to relieve itself of the obligation of operating commuter trains. Metro North RR was set up to take over commuter operations out of GCT. Amtrak got 6 FL9s and MNRR got the rest. Amtrak rebuilt it's 6 and generally ran them all the way from GCT to Albany-Rensselaer in order to avoid the time and expense of an engine change at Harmon.
