I am pretty sure that this train is heading West, having not yet reached the station yet. The station is a bit past the first set of signals in view.

Mr. Banks, this is the westbound train to Chicago. I photographed this consist later that day in Kalamazoo on its eastbound journey with the 36 in the lead. Nice shot, Aaron!
