I just watched "Trains and Locomotives" on RFD-TV. A program called "Steam and Diesel On The Pennsylvania Railroad, Vol 2. Approximately 29 minutes into the program, it showed PRR 5866 laying on it's side out in Ohio. The result of a severe railroad accident. The video was black & white, but I could tell it was painted solid black. Not the Tucson Red with the stripes as seen in your photo. Did PRR recycle locomotive numbers or do you think 5866 was repainted after the accident and given the look I see in your photo?

It could have been painted solid Tuscan red as some surviving Pennsy units were in their last years.
