Nice shot. I have been fortunate to see No. 607 myself. Just a note to American fans; the use of the word gauge here does not refer to the distance between the rails but to 607's being too big or out of the normal clearance diagrams.

Very nice photo and interesting back story. I didn't know that there even was such a thing as a British-built 4-8-4. It must have been a royal pain getting these beasts moved to a seaport for shipment to China back in 1935.
