Good one, Jake! And wouldn't you know it, I was camped in front of the bridge just before this one, and snapped this photo of the exact same train, just a few seconds before you snapped yours (http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=377673). For those who don't know the area, the Meramec River is crossed twice in less than a mile by the UP Jefferson City Sub: the river flows nominally west to east, but it executes a hairpin 180-degree turn to go west and pass under the bridge in Jake's photo, and then it turns east again and goes under the bridge in my photo. The river continues east from that point and eventually flows into the Mississippi River south of St. Louis.
