Please note that the trailing locomotive,# 1200 is equipped with a rather un-common EMD switcher option. The raised box located in front of the cab, houses the dynamic brake equipment and it's associated fan. There have been many photos posted lately, of the Simpson Railroad's operations. So far no one has mentioned that this unit is different from the other switchers. Thanks for your "Simpson Railroad" postings Joel.

Actually it is the 1202 that is unique in that it lacks the equipment that the 1200 and 1201 have. The 900 has its dynamics located within the hood.
