I commend you on your effort, Mr Livesey! Backlit at Hood, or nearly another location along the line - who'd have thought it possible within the confines of the tree tunnels and tightly placed trestles lacking any reasonable place free of brush and flowing water to place a flash. Well done, sir! PS - We had a good time at Doylestown Hospital, didn't we! Glad you were able to bring home a trophy.

Excellent! The side-light gives it such an authentic feel! I've always thought it would be a good idea to take a suture kit railfanning!

And all along I had been led to believe that you were "Home Alone" on this one. The stitches are what's known as "Character Building". Either way, nicely done my friend and kudos to the good samaritan for seeing to it that you got to the ER.

Well, a great photo, scratch that, a superb photo and I love the mood here. Your efforts are commended! PCA from me, Dennis.

Very nice work Dennis! Well worth the blood loss, I'm sure. I take it we'll be seeing you up this way next season too... :)

You rock, Dennis. Wonderful. I am sorry for your accident, but it looks like it was worth the stitches.

Excellent shot, regardless of the backstory. Nice light on the steam.

Beautiful shot, Dennis...and your backstory only goes to prove that scars are just tattoos with better stories!
