I remember seeing these where I live. That was in the 1970's and I think lasted until late 80's or early 90's.

i remember watching that exact engine moving cars in the 70's. i waited many a times for it to pass as i was walking home from school and i used to watch it for hours in the summer down at stewart st. yard

Such a sad state to see that engine in. I love the old switchers that loco was my favorite part of the bay front and i could probably spend all day watching that yard.

If i'm not mistaken, this unit was sold to Lambton Diesel Services (LDSX), recieved new traction motors, and is being leased by Esso in Sarnia.
