Amtrak 145, the Phase 3 Heritage Unit,
is on the rear side of the train as a DPU.
Amtrak 145 is automatically controlled from the Engineer on the front of the Locomotive Unit,
which is Amtrak 90224, and EMD NPCU F40PH Unit.
