Wonderful picture! This photo certainly shows her tired well used appearance and her character signaling that the end of steam is near on the N&W. Thanks for sharing yet another glimpse from the past.

Great photograph as usual. I believe this is actually a Y-4. I thought they had all gotten a round smoke box door by this time. Since I model 1954 or so and like this front end, so much the better. Thanks for uploading this wonderful stuff.
