By St. Louis PCC trolley Don means a PCC built by St. Louis Car Company as opposed to the other PCC builder, Pullamn. PCC stands for President Conference Commission. The U.S. trolley car company Presidents got together in the early 1930s and said we have to have better, modern vehicles to compete with cars and buses.
