Great photo Dave of the two big hooks in action. Especially when one was steam powered. Only CN could create a wreck like this.

The two CN cranes working this derailment were CN 50008 Bucyrus Erie, 250 ton, serial number 36210, built in 1946, and, CN 50073 Industrial Works 120 ton, serial number xxxx, built in 19xx. I believe the location is the CN Grimsby Sub at Nash Road in Stoney Creek, ON and the date of the lift was July 11, 1968.

Thanks for the additional info Paul. That is correct, it would have been at Lake Ave where the Beach Sub branched off.
