A good illustration of the difference between Russian and other European loading gauges. Are these trains restricted to certain routes because of their size?

No restrictions in france as far as I know. Speed limit is 160 km/h in france, 200 km/h in germany, don't know for the other countries...

This wagons are the same loading gauge and dimensions as other European rolling stock....You may be confused by the height of DB locomotive class 181 that is a little shorter than other locomotives or it seems that way...Hmm Im not so sure :P
