I will say it does not look like 34th and 9th NYC. More like my HO layout circa 5th grade.

That locomotive looks like one of the bio-diesel engines running on the Mt. Washington Cog Railway.

That ain't no Lumber Jack Special, that's for sure (or maybe it is!) ... but the depot that this display is next to (not shown) is quite a nice piece of history.

I guess there really is a prototype for everything in model railroading.It's only a matter of time before one of the low end model railroad companies produces this set.
