Lot of differences large and small from our "railway artifacts" here; but yet it is still all about steam, steel, brains, and brawn.

Back when this train was new those were deluxe accommodations for the traveller, however, they certainly were not deluxe anything for the engine crew. Those poor guys had to stand all the way and do so in all kinds of weather. The crews of that era had to come from a very hardy stock or else you would not make it.
