So, just three days after I attended it's final appearance with the Amtrak 40th Anniversary Train display at New York's Grand Central Terminal, the 822 is in revenue service once again. Congratulations to Amtrak, and everyone involved in the year-long event, it was a job well done, and I have my Athearn HO-scale replica of the 822 as my momento.
