I love this photo. Thanks Matt. As an ex-loco driver from Liverpool, UK, I really appreciate the difficult conditions in which you captured this beast. Please - search 'Liverpool Lime Street' - I am sure you will see the congested tunnel infested station neck that made photography so challenging - great when it came off, but rare as rocking-horse ****. I should also add that I love the AEM-7's. I am an ex-ac loco driver, after all! Kudos to you, sir.

Great shot Matt! On the few occasions that I have left Penn Station on board a train, I've wondered what the photo possibilities were using this light - thanks for sharing that!

What I think of is the "Ol' timers" who at the time of constructing this "web" of wires and rails, had to dig the tunnel, lay the rail, string the wire, and make sure it all worked properly. The "modern" technological advancement at the time and after all these years, it still stands the test of time, and still operates as it was built and meant to! Here's to the modern "geniuses" who have to maintain this "web" of "spaghetti" today! Good ol' American ingenuity.
