Great perspective of this curves, I traveled this route in 2002 and was totally impressed with this piece of track. But the image has been doctored - the coal cars are overly tall in foreground and too narrow on the apex of the curve.

Nice motive, but to me it looks like the picture has been heavy compressed in the horizontal position? I dont think Russian coal are that short and narrow.

Great image and location, but undoubtably altered to fit RP.net's strict "standard horizontal" rule. Would love to see it in its original form--perhaps the photographer can post it elsewhere on line and provide a link to the unaltered version?
