This photo was taken in East Stroudsburg, Pa. and just to the left out of frame is the old station that is now a restaurant. The station still looks as it did when it was operational including the railway express office. The rre is now the kitchen of the restaurant and the station, itself, is the seating area. All that remains of the yard is one track, the tower on the right, and two old swing arm gates at the road.

Actually, David - the station was severely damaged by a fire in 2009 and a developer with dollar signs in his mind saw an opportunity to unburden the town of it's historic identity and character with the intent of building an apartment complex in it's place. There was a huge public outcry and a judge blocked the demolition but later was overturned. Thanks to several fund raising events and a significant pledge of $500,000 from Dr. Joseph Mattioli, who owns Pocono Raceway, the station itself was saved, spun 180 degrees and moved to the other side of the tracks where it stands today.
